Good day! Good day to you! My name is Thomas Harrison Hair. I was born in Newcastle in about 1810. I lived with my family in Scotswood on the North bank of the River Tyne. This was a very small place at that time and quite an industrial area. Chemicals, paper and bricks were just some of the things made there and a colliery operated nearby. |
