Structural Images of the North East


Can I use one of your images?

Permission to use varies according to the intended use

You may make at most one hard copy reproduction of the images for private, non-commercial use as long as you acknowledge SINE as the copyright owner of the digital image. In addition, publicly funded education institutions may make multiple copies solely for the purpose of distribution to students.

Use of images for a website

You may use our images in your own private or educational, non-commercial website, as long as you abide by the following rules:

  • the maximum size of the image displayed is 120 pixels in any one dimension. The thumbnails displayed in our list of results are precisely the right size for this.
  • the image is copied to your own web site and shown from there (to display the image make sure that it points to your own copy, rather than using our URL).
  • the image is LINKED to our copy of it, as if it were in our results page.
  • the following message is displayed next to the image. "©SINE Project".
  • we recommend that you add an ALT text to the image, along the line of a short description followed by "select this to view the full sized image at the SINE project"
