Browse by image dates

You can browse the SINE collection for images created on a certain day, or within a certain timescale. For example, if you wanted to look at images from between 1973 and 1978, you would enter 1973 in the ‘After’ box, and 1978 in the ‘’Before’ box, then click the ‘Get Images’ button. For all images created after 1973 you would leave the ‘Before’ box blank, and for all images from before 1978 you would leave the ‘After’ box blank.

You can also browse using specific dates in the same way. A specific date must be entered in the format dd/mm/yyyy – e.g. 14^thApril 1998 would be entered as 14/04/1998.

The collections can also be searched by period, by entering the name of the period you are interested in in the ‘Period’ box.

If you are unsure about which period you wish to browse for, clicking the ‘Lookup Period’ button will take you to a list, from which you can select the period you want to search.
